About Isa

My Journey:

Over the course of my career, I've embarked on a transformative journey from web and graphic design into the intricate world of user experience design. Like many paths in life, this was not a straight line but a series of enlightening curves and enlightening revelations.

As a UX Designer who is deeply passionate about human-centered design, my work is guided by the foundational principles of human-computer interaction (HCI). My focus is on meticulously crafting products through a thoughtful design process that is both informed and validated by rigorous research. I’m particularly skilled in a range of user research techniques, including interviews, surveys, and usability studies, and I use these insights to make strategic design decisions.

I devote time to developing detailed user personas and conduct extensive usability testing to continuously refine our designs. My goal is always to create service designs and journey mappings that are not just functional but are seamlessly integrated, providing a flawless experience at every touchpoint. While I am skilled in wireframing and mastering information architecture, what really characterizes my work is my unwavering commitment to ensuring that every design decision is backed by solid research findings.

In team settings, I thrive on clearly communicating design concepts, aligning closely with our broader business goals. I stay abreast of the latest developments in HCI and AI, integrating these innovations into my designs to create products that not only fulfill functional requirements but also connect meaningfully with users, driven by a research-led approach.

Favorite UX Design and Research Books

A mentor suggested this one. It really helped me structure my approach to testing ideas. Thank you Chris.

Different types of research methods. More of a resource book for examples of different testing methods and approaches, but there are many gems within.

I suggest the audiobook. It provided me more moments of reflection and it’s good listing material.
