About Me

I am a Bay Area-born and raised South Asian American Muslim queer woman. I am a mother, a dancer, a writer, and a radical intersectional feminist.

I have nearly 20 years of professional experience in community advocacy, education, and the arts, most of which has been in direct service.

You may be seeking…

Maybe you’re navigating questions about who you are, struggling in relationships, or feeling worn down by anxiety, depression, or major life changes. Perhaps issues around sexuality or intimacy concerns, addiction or compulsive patterns, or self-worth have become harder to manage on your own.

You may be carrying the weight of trauma or grief, or sensing something unspoken that’s been affecting you for a long time.

And it’s also possible that you don’t have a name for what you’re feeling. You just know you need support.

Wherever you are in your journey, all of you is welcome here. You deserve a space where your story can unfold safely and without judgment.

About You

“You don’t need to have everything figured out before we begin. We’ll make sense of things together.”

You’re interested in exploring your inner world, developing insight around your patterns, and cultivating healthy attachments. You want to start doing more of what’s working and less of what’s not working.

Whether it’s your first time in therapy or you have years of experience in the room, you’re invited to approach me for support around these things, and more!

Many of my clients are:

  • QTBIPOC / women of color

  • young / “transitional age” adults

  • neurodivergent people

  • educators, artists, and healing practitioners

  • parents

  • couples, especially those in non-traditional relationship structures and dynamnics
